Conscious Alliance Outreach Program

Conscious Alliance Outreach Program

Conscious Alliance is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to supporting communities in crisis through hunger relief and youth empowerment. Conscious Alliance operates through ongoing food collection programs by organizing food drives at music events nationwide and partnering with natural food companies who donate healthy food in bulk. The donations collected benefit food pantries across the country as well as their own food pantry and backpack program on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota. Conscious Alliance also empowers youth through community engagement, creativity, gardening, and cultural programs.

Their slogan is 'Art That Feeds'. Conscious Alliance attends events, concerts, music festivals, etc. and collaborates with artists to create beautiful event posters.   The posters are then provided to patrons in exchange for non-perishable food item donations. How cool?!

Grassroots California has partnered with Conscious Alliance and all that it encompasses since our existence.  We are closely affiliated and share many of the same values.  In 2017, Conscious Alliance was one of Grassroots' featured charities.  We committed to contribute a portion of all online sales back to the organization.  With that donation, we produced a new Conscious Alliance hat! All proceeds from these hats will be donated back to Conscious Alliance in order to help keep bellies full around the country.  ART CAN FEED!

Last week, Grassroots got the opportunity to offer hands-on help to this amazing charity. The staff spent our morning in Boulder, CO - helping to package family-sized soup meals. Each bag feeds 4 people and they will be donated back into our community, right here in Denver, Colorado!

Thanks to Conscious Alliance for all the amazing outreach they have done across our country in the last ten years.  We look forward to collaborating in the future and helping feed those in need.  Please visit their website and browse their amazing selection of show posters from the past - and make sure to catch them at a show near you in the future.
