With every new year comes change, and this year Grassroots is making a few big changes. While one of our brick and mortar stores will be consolidating, we're extra excited for our summer music festival schedule! Here's the 2020 tea.
In 2016, we opened our second flagship storefront, Grassroots Chicago. In Spring of last year, we merged storefronts with MADE Gallery, our biggest retailer in Chicago, known for an incredible selection of high-end glass art, hats, and apparel. As of March 13th, we'll be moving out of this storefront, but you can still purchase Grassroots merchandise at the shop at 1430 W. Chicago Ave., Grassroots Colorado, or in-person at our vendor booths! Below is our complete festival schedule for summer 2020 and we can't wait to see you on the road!
Okeechobee: Escape the winter wonderland by heading south and taking spring break a little early! From March 5th-8th, we're getting down in Florida with
Mumford & Sons,
Glass Animals, Rufus Du Sol, Kaskade, Lotus, Big Gigantic, Papadosio, Boogie T.rio, Tipper,
GRiZ and more! We'll have a full vendor booth here with our newest
Pre-Spring 2020 gear and
Fall/Winter 2019 faves as well. Explore tickets and camping packages
here!
Buku: If you have time off around Spring Break, New Orleans could be a great spot to venture off to and meet up with us!
Buku Music + Art Project looks like one hell of a rager with mad Burner vibes. With top artists such as Flume, Illenium, Run the Jewels,
Zeds Dead, Gramatik, Clozee, Subtronics, and Space Jesus, we think this is a banger worth checking into. We might also mention checking out
100 Gecs because they're wild and we dig it!
Tickets are almost sold out, so if you're trying to go, get on it and get our
GRC Buku merch now!
Snoe.down: It's been 7 years since the last snoe.down, but moe. is back with a very special 3-day weekend! Snoe.down will take place on Copper Mountain in Frisco, CO March 20th-22nd and tickets are already sold out so you'll need to do some ticket-hunting if you're trying to go. VIP packages look insane though, including early entry, a catered sound-check preparty, pancake breakfast, signed merch, and discounted ski packages. But you know the best part about this special, returning event? We'll be there, too!
Mile High 420 Festival: You know we're going to be celebrating our 420-pride on April 20th every year, but this event is an exceptionally great way to celebrate the movement and our progress in Colorado. Located in Civic Park Denver, this is a 100% free festival for enthusiasts, activists, and attendees, with music performances, comedy shows, and
vendors galore! Come check out our booth for the newest Spring and Summer merch, but we're just as stoked to check out what other cannabis-companies, apparel companies, and food vendors are on-site for 4/20. Need some canna-themed merch? Peep our new
Master Kush collection or
Cali Greens merch!
Summer Camp: Our go-to spot for Memorial Day weekend has been Chillicothe, Illinois for the last 10 years. You know our booth: the special one in the woods that's always poppin' with merch, renegade sets, artist meet and greets, Glam Camp, and more? This year we're coming to the
20th Summer Camp Anniversary Celebration locked and loaded! If you haven't peeped this year's lineup already, you're slacking, and Phase 3 is still coming! Along with moe. &
Umphrey's McGee (per usual), SCamp is slaying with their jam & EDM acts:
GRiZ is returning for the first time in 4 years. Boogie T is bringing the live band out for a special Boogie T.rio set. Rezz was given a proper headlining set this year and Tipper returns to once again going to melt our ears and faces. Along with bands, Ween, Joe Russo's Almost Dead, Dirty Heads, Pigeons, Yonder Mountain, and plenty more, we're stoked for another 4-day weekend of Sunshine, Moonshine, and Red Barn glory!
Tickets are now on sale and we recommend scooping
VIPs ASAP so you can claim your spot at a Red Barn set (or two, or three, or four!). Our girl,
Nikstagraham, is a SCamp Counselor will be covering the action all weekend as well so be sure to tune in for updates and recaps!
Kosmic Kingdom: Imagine... a
Renaissance Fair meets a music festival, and you get Kosmic Kingdom. The grounds include facades that resemble old towers and castles, village-like storefronts and vendor booths, and bar patios reminiscent of the middle-ages. With an
EDM-based lineup featuring Space Jesus, Rusko, Chee, Toadface and Kursa, plus
Spicy Bois acts and camping next to the venue, this weekend festival is nothing short of a good time.
Bonnaroo: We're returning to
our favorite mid-summer festival known for its heat, size, jam bands, and
rock and roll lineup! Now one of the largest and most diverse festivals in North America, we're radiating extra positivity to be partners. If you haven't heard, Lizzo, Tool, Miley Cyrus, and Bassnectar are among the top act this year. We're excited to announce that we'll now have two booths you can visit at Bonnaroo 2020: one inside Center-Roo with the other merch and apparel vendors, and one in the
camping plazas (most likely Pod 3 or 4, where all the late-night vendor action is on your way to the "Where In The Woods").
Electric Forest: Let's get lost together! You either know our booth from the Wednesday night renegade-rager we throw at our campground booth, or you stop by our venue booth on your walk between Tripolee and the Ranch Arena. Not only do
we make the official Electric Forest & Forest Family hats and pins, but they also sell out quickly, so here's your reminder to go to the official merch booth for your hat, and then come to our booth for the newest Grassroots merch drop! Obviously, we're stoked to see some Cheese & Bassnectar, but this year's lineup includes the Disco Biscuits, Big Gigantic, Diplo, Major Lazer, Boys Noize, G Jones, Clozee, Tchami,
The Glitch Mob, and more!
This concludes the first half of our summer schedule. Other music festivals we plan to attend, cover, and have a vendor booth at including
Camp Bisco,
Peach Music Festival,
Moonrise,
Shambhala Festival,
North Coast, Excision's
Lost Lands Music Festival, and
Suwannee Hulaween. Be sure to check our socials for ticket giveaways, festival merch drops, and renegade set announcements as we dive into our fun-filled summer of festi-fun! Also, be sure to get all your
festival gear and needs beforehand at www.grassrootscalifornia.com
