Jimbo Phillips hails from Santa Cruz, California, and comes from quite a pedigree — his father, Jim Phillips, designed all the art for Santa Cruz Skateboards in the 1970s and 1980s and was the original designer of the “Screaming Hand” logo.
Jimbo started his own graphic art business for skateboard companies as well as Toyota, Nike, Snickers, Volcom, and many more, using the same eye-popping designs, bold line drawing, and brilliant colors that made his father’s art famous — updated for the modern world.
